Since its founding, G2 has served a global audience of software buyers and providers. One of the most exciting opportunities for us is continued global expansion to serve our many customers in the Asia Pacific region and help businesses make better software purchasing decisions.

With vibrant buyer and vendor communities already using G2, we are excited to be launching our operations in Singapore to better serve these communities.

In November 2019, our newest office will officially open in Singapore and will be located in the heart of its central business district.

Singapore was a natural place for G2 to expand. Earlier this year, we acquired Advocately, a Singapore based review management platform, which helped us to establish a presence in the region. With the expansion, we hope to grow our Asia Pacific team to 100 employees by the end of 2020.

Marking the office opening is the launch of our Best Software Companies in Asia Pacific rankings, which identifies the global vendors who have the best ratings on G2 based on reviews from customers across the region.

With many global vendors focusing on the region, we wanted to identify those delivering an exceptional customer experience with the highest satisfaction score on G2. We examined more than 39,000 reviews across 398 vendors to determine this list.

The Top 10 software companies in Asia Pacific  are:

  1. MongoDB

  3. Slack
  4. Asana
  5. Shopify
  6. Zoom

How Asia Pacific Expansion Supports Global Business

With our expanded footprint - including rankings to now support the US, EMEA and Asia Pacific regions - G2 is a global authority on business software, helping companies large and small make better purchasing decisions.

Asia Pacific has emerged as a key global driver of growth, with business momentum now shifting to the region.  According to McKinsey, Asia Pacific will top 50% of global GDP and represent 40% of global consumption by 2040.  With this growth, businesses are shifting from a low-cost approach to one fueled by innovation in order to be successful.

Asia Pacific businesses are investing heavily in technology to remain competitive, and they’re increasing efficiency while improving customer experiences. The region’s rapid adoption of technology fits directly into G2’s mission of helping businesses around the globe make better software purchasing decisions. Already, 25% of buyers researching on G2 come from the region and 6 out of our top 12 global markets are in Asia Pacific.

From reviews of their peers’ experiences to tools to identify the best products, along with over 15,000 reports freely available on G2’s Research Hub, we’ve got Asia Pacific businesses covered.
